"I had ordered other patio lights previously (cheaper, thinking I could save some money)," explained a five-star customer, "but they shattered as soon as a twig hit them. These, however, are made of sterner stuff. I live in MN and the weather is not kind to them — strong wind with massive trees that drop branches constantly, weeks of subzero temps and squirrels using them as personal bridges to my roof. These lights have held up impressively well."

The cord and bulbs are not the same on all lengths. I prefer the round cord on the 48’ option. I also ordered the 72’ and it had a flat cord which, in my opinion, looks cheaper. Looking back now I can see the difference in the listing photos, but it is subtle so watch out for that!"
